Signs of the Times #161
Coalition For Free Thought In Media [July 31] ‘I went by a local park the other day and it looked like a concentration camp crossed with a mass murder scene. There were people in rags and covered with filth lying scattered all over the place. At least twenty people were on crutches, had parts bandaged, or with open wounds not even covered. They were all hungry and a large majority were sick. All around this city I live in, and nation-wide, the level of homelessness and poverty is growing alarmingly. From the last counts and estimates nation-wide, there has been at least a 35-45% increase in homelessness and poverty. The increases have come over the last two years with the biggest increases being in 2002 and especially in the first six months of 2003. ... I have talked to people that run food banks, soup kitchens, and homeless shelters. Places like Day Star, Catholic Charities, St, Vincent De Paul, and many other major support agencies. They all tell me they have seen a vast increase in people that would starve or be without clothes if not for their services.’

The Post and Courier Aug 2, 2003 ‘The earthquake experts say it wasn´t a shaker, and military authorities say they didn´t have the kind of planes in the air that can make a sonic boom. But whatever it was, the noise that rattled Lowcountry communities about 1:30 p.m. Friday commanded a lot of attention. ... Local police said they didn´t know what the noise was, but they received a lot of calls. ... In like fashion, earthquake experts at Charleston Southern University and the University of South Carolina ruled out any temblors in the area. ... The Air Force, the S.C. Air National Guard and the Marines all have planes stationed in South Carolina that can break the sound barrier. But all three military bases insisted they had nothing in the air that could have created a sonic boom. ... The Navy gets a clean bill, too. Navy spokesman Pat Dooling in Jacksonville said there were no carriers operating off the South Carolina coast that could have launched boom-making planes. Also, the Navy no longer has any supersonic jets assigned in Jacksonville.’

Star-Tribune Aug 02, 2003 ‘Ground deformation has been detected by satellite radar interferometry research by Chuck Wick in Menlo Park, Calif., as well as by seismic research by University of Utah´s Bob Smith. Activity in and around the Norris Basin has been picking up, Heasler said, including a new 750-meter line of fumeroles - holes which give off hot gases. ... In the past 2.1 million years, Yellowstone has produced three very large caldera-producing explosions -- the last 640,000 years ago. The three caldera-forming eruptions, respectively, were about 2,500, 280, and 1,000 times larger than the May 18, 1980, eruption of Mount St. Helens in Washington State.’

The sun finally peaked through the clouds yesterday [July 30] just long enough to snap a couple pictures. Do you think this was a light over load? Looks like a red dust cloud to me. [Note: the black do in center is a light overload. This is the first photo of the predicted Fire Dragon!]

Today [July 31] on ‘National Weather Service Losing Focus: The U.S. government National Weather Service's performance in providing data and warnings about Hurricane Claudette raises important questions about its priorities and its ability to fulfill its core mission of providing complete and timely data to protect life and property. The NWS received and used critical observations during an 11-hour period the day before Claudette hit Texas, but did not make these observations available to the commercial weather industry (companies like AccuWeather), emergency preparedness agencies or the public. In addition to its failure to release critical data, the NWS also failed to issue accurate warnings for Hurricane Claudette's wind speeds. This failure was cited by some citizens as the reason they did not take appropriate action before the storm hit. [Note: the coverup in action, as approval must be given even for weather reports to be released!]

Crop Circles : A Field Report - Kekoskee / Mayville, Wisconsin Crop Circle. ‘A Crop Circle, an eyewitness, photos, recorded anomalies and a meeting with a member of The USAF Special Crop Circle Investigative Unit! On July 23-24, 2003, a private scientific research team documented physical evidence that confirmed Art Rantala’s eyewitness observation that the Mayville/Kekoskee, Wisconsin Crop Circle formation was not made by hoaxers. The team consisted of Gary Kahlimer of Horicon, Wisconsin, Dr. Charles Lietzau and Jeffrey Wilson of Michigan, and Roger Sugden of Indiana. Arriving at the field on July 23, 2002, we discovered and photographed the presence of several anomalies that cannot be duplicated by hoaxers.’ [Note: this Wisconsin Crop Circle has the ZetaTalk Triangle within it.]

I am in Kentucky, an area of the country that has a lot of sinkholes and caves. In the last year and a half, since I moved here, I have noticed that the hairline cracks in the rock faces have been expanding, some as much as 6 inches. I have also noticed more sinkhole formation starting and sections of rock falling away to reveal cave openings. Since I am not in an area of earthquake activity, such as California where I moved from, and would like to know what could be causing this.

There is a webcam burnout on both Santorini now [July 31] and KatKam last night [July 30]. Only an extremely intense lightsource could be doing this. As often as I have checked these webcams, I have never seen this type of burnout on either of these cameras. ... You are correct. I cannot even make out the barrier island in the background. I´ve never seen these frames looking this bright in past months. ... The webcams have been fantastic sources of information for many months now. These cameras in these locations, are not cheap. I´ve been watching that site as have many people for some time now. The intensity of the Sun is so extreme it is actually burning out the camera lens. This can only happen if something other than the sun is interfering. If you go back and look at the archives of Katkam, you will notice clear and distinct camera shots from the past. Now we are getting this burnout because of the new light source at the ecliptic. ... Take a good look . That is not a spheroid sun. its an egg shape.
